Rachel, Thank you for your note. I actually love your response. And what you have to say has so much wisdom in it, I can’t disagree.
I guess my fear is that writers/poets, get so caught up in the “am I being honest to my brand?” they aren’t being honest to themselves and may miss out on some unique creative endeavors that don’t quite “fit” anywhere. But yes, to all that you say, especially to calling a “platform”: pretty blue toenails. That I can do!
