In Defense of Seeing Movies Alone

I see movies alone. Here’s why.

Wait, actually —

You know what? We don’t need a defense of seeing movies alone.

It’s a normal thing, and I do it all the time, and I’ve been doing it all the time for years.

It’s not weird at all! People watch movies on their laptops alone all the time. It’s good. It’s all good. We don’t need a thinkpiece or essay defending everything, especially something as innocuous as doing a silent activity by one’s self. And if you think it is weird, and does need defending, get the fuck out of here! Stop being judgy! You probably do a ton of shit way weirder than going to the movies alone. Think about that, huh?

Anyway, I saw a movie alone yesterday, and it was a really good experience. If you haven’t tried it yet, I highly recommend it!
