COMMIT TO 3 A DAY

At the beginning of each day I write down 3 things to do by the end of the day that move me closer to my goals. Some are small, some are big, some are in my comfort zone, some push me far out of it.

Being completely honest, when I first starting doing this some of the “items” well they were easy but I did learn to just be kind to myself! Telling myself off for making things too easy by picking low hanging fruit!

Realistically that’s absolutely fine — as long as there is action.

What did surprise me is some of the things that I thought were going to be hard and which scared me — weren’t actually as bad as the ideas about them that I had conjured up in my mind…

and well, I was damn proud of myself for getting them done — most of the “hard” ones had been things I’d been procrastinating about for a while.

Keeping to the philosophy about habit, consistency and routine has given me more confidence and focus.

Since I’ve started doing this a few weeks ago, there’s something that happens on a subconscious level thatsimply triggers momentum in a positive direction.

I have direction and purpose for the day and a sense of achievement when I tick each thing off the list.

Try it. Be Consistent. Take Action. BE ALL IN.
