My Path to Signing with a Top NYC Literary Agent.
Anna Sabino

I like the straightforward approach you took to your publication process. You treated the process like it’s a business, which is more inherent (I think) in nonfiction, but nevertheless important in fiction. From a lot of my research and experience, this part of getting published is not as recognized because we all have stories to tell and expect everything will fall into place once we start on our own journeys. Which it might, but selling books is a business and if more people recognized this aspect of it, I think slush piles would go down, better manuscripts would get written and represented, and more people would be successful in achieving their publishing dreams.
