Firstly, we’re proud to join the Civic Alliance, a nonpartisan business coalition that strengthens our democracy by inspiring every American to participate in shaping our country’s future. Collectively, the Civic Alliance reaches over 2 million employees and counting.

Thumbtack is also committing to giving workers the day off on Election Day, November 3, 2020, so every employee has time to vote and participate to the fullest. Whether employees choose to go to the polls, fill out or drop off a ballot, volunteer to support a campaign of their choice, or encourage friends and family to vote, it’s our hope that removing work obligations for the day will enable active, meaningful engagement in the civic process. …
