Smoothies Aren’t Just For Fit People

I recently visited my 92 year old Grandmother and made her a chocolate smoothie. Her appetite is really low and she battles swelling in her legs (her doctor says due to lack of protein in her diet). Check out her review in Cajun French…don’t worry, she translates it for you!!

These smoothies are great for kids and adults.

They’re vegan, organic, gluten free, non-GMO among other amazing things!

My kids ask for them daily (I literally had to stop to make one for my daughter just now!). I never have to worry if they ask for this close to meal time because it’s the perfect balance their bodies need. So their actual meal portion may be a little smaller, but that’s OK because they already got exactly what their bodies needed from the smoothie!

And this is an amazing smoothie for my grandmother. As she’s gotten older, her appetite has gone down significantly. She has severe arthritis and I know that the foods that she eats play an important role in how inflamed her bodies is. Thanks to Daily Sunshine, I know she’ll reduce the inflammation and decrease some of the pain she feels.

UPDATE: The day after she drank this first smoothie, she noticed a significant decrease in her leg swelling!!! YAY!!!
