13 Year Old Killed by VA Tech. Students

David Eisenhauer and Natalie Keepers, two Virginia Tech. students, murdered young Nicole Lovell on January 27. They initially made contact over social media. The motive behind the killing is unkown.

Man Serves 30 Days in Jail For Selling Turtles

Corey Lee Taylor was convicted for taking hundreds of eggs and turtles and selling them. This is illegal to do in Virginia. He will also be on probation for one year.

Zika Travels to College of William and Mary

A student who recently traveled to Central America contracted the Zika disease. This disease is now considered a global health emergency. This mosquito-borne virus leads to some birth defects.
