High School Relationships

If any of you have been in high school then you know 99.9% of the time, high school relationships don’t work. They usually just end up hurting you and doing no good. Although it’s nice to live and to learn but after one serious relationship in high school I think you should just stop with relationships for awhile and go have fun.

I was perviously in a year and a half relationship. Don’t get me wrong, it was amazing, but it was also one of the worst heartaches I’ve ever felt. I’m now having fun and hanging out with my friends, and even though we’ve been broken up for about 4 months now, it still hurts. When you fall in love with someone it’s hard to just forget and block out every memory, especially when you have to see them everyday.

If you’re someone like me then you fall way too quickly and don’t think about the outcome of what could happen. (Like getting hurt.) I never had a great love until my last boy friend and it was an awakening and a huge learning point in my life to know what I want in a future partner. I have one year of high school left and I’m looking to have fun and make many memories with my best friends. I wouldn’t change a thing about my past. It has shaped how I am today.

My parents have also helped shape me into the person I am today and without them I don’t know how I’d get through life. My dad was very pleased when I said I was done with boys for a while… hahaha! My mom was there to hug me and tell me everything would be okay, which it definitely is. I went through a long high school relationship and that was definitely the last. You live and you learn!
