The mix and fix story!
I had the pleasure of being involved in the redesign of the Home24 app, and it was an exciting experience. It felt like taking an old, outdated house and transforming it into a stylish, modern work of art. The new design is visually pleasing, user-friendly, and intuitive, making it an ideal platform for shopping for furniture, decor, and home essentials. The app now provides a seamless and satisfying user experience, much like stepping into a brand-new house with all the frills and conveniences you could ever want.
Initially, the app felt a bit chaotic, and I felt challenged to declutter and simplify the layout to create an immense and inviting feel. I focused on displaying the Butler’s Shop on the home page so that users could easily navigate, take action, and search for their desired needs, making it effortless for them to browse and shop. Simplifying the layout and making it minimal ensured that users felt understood and valued.
To make the browsing and shopping experience more visually pleasing, I added a touch of elegance to the design. By the end of the redesign, the Home24 app felt like a beautifully renovated home, inviting users to explore and make themselves at ease.
Integrating the Butler’s Shop feature was a unique challenge, but I approached it with the same passion and dedication. I implemented clear navigation paths and leveraged users to suggest Butler’s Shop items that complemented their preferences. Ultimately, the integration enhanced the overall experience, providing users with a curated selection of premium products alongside regular browsing.
