So, let me understand this. You left a low tax state, with a lack of jobs, and, presumably, opportunity, to move to a state which provided very well for you; Infrastructure, education, jobs and growth opportunities, a moderate climate for you to enjoy. And, selfishly, all you can get out of it is how much you paid in taxes for all of it? And, now that you’re retired, you’re leaving?
You learned nothing. Appalachia still has a lack of jobs and California is the growth and innovation engine of the U.S., because of the investments made by those taxes.
Oh, and BTW, California is carrying Appalachia on its back because of the federal taxes California paid in and then redistributed to your beloved low tax states.
