End Of Week Thoughts
I have spent the last decade of my life reading, studying, implementing, experimenting, failing, and evaluating everything I can in the health, nutrition, and fitness space. Throughout COUNTLESS successes and failures I have begun developing my own thesis on what it takes to achieve fulfillment in health, fitness, and life.
But the more I learn, the more I realize I don’t know.
This classic conundrum fascinates and excites me beyond measure as learning, doing, and experiencing new things powers my energy levels and tops off my fulfillment meter.
I want to share my journey with you in the hopes that you are able to gain some insight to apply to your life.
Content Schedule
I am truly trying to develop a rhythm that allows me to pump out large amounts of content to various platforms.
The only set schedule I have so far is that I will release a podcast every Monday. There may be some weeks where I get fired up and release a second but I am committed to doing a minimum of 1. Right now I am liking the interview style but I may throw in some question and answer here in the near future if I feel like it!
Blogging is hard for me because I want everything that I put out to be AMAZING and I routinely let “perfect” destroy my “good”. I am doing my best to take the pressure off myself to make a blog completely perfect and just GET OUT THE INFO!
If a spelling error or grammatical mistake drives someone so nuts they freak out… well…they can just go eat some estrogen building tofu and chillax.
My Life Is Divided In 3 Distinct Ways
The Capitalistic Artist
We created a text message based automated food tracking software that will FINALLY allow people like you and me to track our food without the inconvenience and time suck that comes from being a food logging zealot.
As a trainer, we always had our clients use MyFitnessPal to log their food but 90% of them would stop logging after a week or two because it was massively time-consuming and annoying to use.
We hope to launch our first beta group for fext.co in the next few weeks! Sign up for the launch and let me know what you think.
This is my little fitness family.
I absolutely love this wonderful group of trainers, fitness addicts, and weirdos.
We’re strange. We hate running. We lift heavy. We’re awesome.
We hate shortcuts, gimmicks, marketing lies, and overall inauthenticity.
Self-awareness, value alignment, honesty, education, and consistency are the pillars to our success.
This is me, and the official on the record journaling of my journey. Right now we’re all about health and fitness but don’t be surprised if I go off on a tangent about something else.
Nothing is off limits because this is me and this is my clubhouse!
Jaspen Gray is an amazing coach, trainer, and athlete that I have the pleasure to be partnered with as he helps change and improve the lives of young athletes.
This was my first foray into the online education course world and I am MASSIVELY proud of it.
This course details my current thesis on healthy eating for a lifetime, not just a diet.
If you struggle with yo-yo dieting and binge eating, this course can help you conquer your foodie demons and finally get the lifelong results you’ve been looking for.
The Spastic Husband
I absolutely love hanging out with my wife. We are completely opposite in our nature but balance each other perfectly.
Pretty much, I’m a massive spaz with big ideas and limitless energy and she keeps our world spinning ;)
The Wandering Athlete
I am somewhat lost on this front currently as I have matured through many stages of sport and athletics.
- Weight Loss & Fitness Transformation
- Collegiate Baseball
- CrossFit Regional Athlete
- Meathead
I am seriously considering getting serious about powerlifting as I think I am built to do well in that sport. I have not trained exclusively for it and have relatively strong numbers. Just trying to weight the pros and cons of training and time. I know what it takes to be great and I don’t take that decision lightly. Maybe I should just train to be healthy? But where’s fun is that?! ;)
- Current Bodyweight 204 lbs @ 13% bodyfat
- Squat — 535#
- Bench — 535#
- Deadlift — 555#

The HHH Podcast
Social Media
- This is my most active platform. To be completely honest I absolutely love it. I multiple times daily and engage with everyone I can!
- Second most active platform that I’m starting to get more and more into. I love watching videos of awesome people doing amazing things ;)
- Snapchat
- storyboard of this journey and random thoughts along the way!
- great place to see what is going on behind the scenes
- Not sure what to do here yet. So far I have just been using it to make connections and watch what others are doing.
- YouTube
- I do my best to load all videos natively to the platform but my traction is nowhere near what it is on Facebook on YouTube.
- My recent “Skinny B****” review got over 4,000 views on Facebook and is only at 6 views on YouTube. Definitely, something to work on! ;)
