This makes a lot of sense. I think this is probably how humans used to organize a routine before the industrial age. As an organic farmer, I’ve learned that a week at a time is the only way to wrap a clock around Mother Nature. You can plan whatever you want for a certain day and time; she usually has other plans then. You want to till the field at 2pm Monday afternoon. She has a torrential downpour and a flooded field scheduled for that time instead. “Oh, you wanted to plant your broccoli? Sorry, your soil microbes needed a drink. Have to wait, human.” Sunday is better for Her, but she won’t tell you. Or maybe Wednesday. Either way, she might let you get it done inside the window of a week. Just be ready when she is and do it. Same goes for most things. Loose plans are always the most adaptable. I got a birthday coming up. I never make plans for myself that day and usually have a great time. Something fun or interesting happens anyway.
Quit your daily routine. Start your weekly routine.
