Why does Bitcoin have Ridiculously High Fees and Slow Confirmations?
Jonald Fyookball

The problem with Lightning Network is even more fundamental: the issuers do not exist.

Core has destroyed the fundamental value of Bitcoin to an existing userbase in order to build a theoretical new business with a theoretical new userbase that hasn’t actually been recruited yet.

We’ve seen lots of pie in the sky vaporware since the dotcom bubble, but sacrificing a multi-billion dollar business in the name of building a non-existent vaporware market is a first.

We have risen to new heights of stupidity.
