If it results in both genders learning to interact with respect, diplomacy and consideration toward one another — if the good qualities from both sides spillover into one generally workable blend, then it becomes a deft move. In time, it could become worthy of emulation in all sorts of social environments and situations. I think the kids will be fine with it; let’s just hope the adults don’t screw it up.
