Sadly, like so many pieces written on this topic, there is no real scientific evidence provided (at least in this particular article). Yes, there is much correlation, but correlation does not equal causality.

Some of the most shameful correlations in this piece relate to attempting to tie the largest CO2 producers to catastrophic events. Is the goal to say that the impact of CO2 is localized (because it wouldn’t be) or that the largest producers of CO2 are simply getting their just desserts?

Also, interesting how other man-made impacts, deforestation, removal of wetlands, etc. are completely ignored. For example, while tragic, was the situation in Houston solely due to the weather or did building practices that didn’t route water properly, reduced/removed wetlands contribute to the damages.
