Not knowing where you’re heading sometimes is actually the reason you aim high.

I have come to accept the feeling of not knowing where I am going. And I have trained myself to love it. Because it is only when we are suspended in mid-air with no landing in sight, that we force our wings to unravel and alas begin our flight. And as we fly, we still may not know where we are going to. But the miracle is in the unfolding of the wings. You may not know where you’re going, but have faith that as long as you spread your wings, the winds shall carry you. Pain is an irritating part of being human, in my experience it feels like a stab to the heart, something I wished I never had to feel again. Pain is almost inevitable but out of pain comes beauty, tenderness, freedom and healing. Healing is sometimes a slow process but it is always an exhilarating one, like the wind against your face and the air propelling your wings and then you realize you’re flying.

Sadly I don’t believe in life philosophies, I believe in reality, find out the truth, believe in it and it’ll give you your driving force. The only person who can pull you down is yourself, do not let anyone pull you down.

Predators mostly have domineering personalities: they’re loud, obnoxious, aggressive: sometimes. Do not focus on changing these people, focus on rising above them despite your opposing personality/nature. I have always appeared to be fragile and delicate and people sometimes prey on that as a weak point. Likewise silk, most people assume silk to be weak but a silk handkerchief can protect the wearer from gun wounds. The truth is that predators have no strength or courage. All strength lies in you. Be you, be silk.

So spread your wings today, take flight, soar. Don’t let anything or anyone hold you back.
