Questions to Spark Authenticity
Steve Dean

Thanks for compiling this list, Steve. I was managing a coffee shop for awhile and found this incredibly useful. One of the things that got me out of bed each morning was the opportunity to post a new question on our chalkboard. 4/5 times I came to this list. Obviously some of them weren’t appropriate for the setting, like ‘what’s your deepest shame?’ but many more were fantastic. I loved seeing people walk past, read the board, and stand there trying to work out an answer. We catered primarily to college students, I loved when they told me they stayed up late thinking about the daily question. It got folks talking and going deeper with each other and that’s what I wanted, a stronger connection with people we may not necessarily connect with. Thanks for this.
