That is trite and wrong. It is not the case that “good science” allows multiple explanations. The idea of science is to actually get the CORRECT answer. If no single correct answer is known then the science is not yet in a good state.

Closed-minded people like myself think that it is gravity that will cause my pen to fall. I would be interested in some of your alternative explanations.
