Thx Dr. It sounds easy enough to do but the nurse practitioner and Dr I have seen for my Type 2 both said metformin and glypizide is the only way to control my diabetes. I guess they didn’t consider just stop eating refined carbs. I never heard those words from them.

I sought out bariatric (barbaric I call it) surgery and worked great for a few years. Now I find myself 110 lighter 7 years later but still super sensitive to sugars. That feeling of going too low (<60) makes me feel like I’m going hypoglycemic and it scares me. So I have a little sugar like an apple and quickly jump back up over 100.

I can’t seem to fast intermittently but certainly want to. It’s a damned it you do or damned if you don’t situation.
