I appreciate that you shared your frustrations, and keep them in mind.
Your post includes some misconceptions commonly held in the React community, so I wanted to take a moment to clarify them for everyone else who has the same concerns.
it looks cool, and definitely is an improvement, however still wonder about consistency, when putting styles in components and not in a well organised sass projects.
You might end up with different font sizes through your whole project when different developers, implement it.
For those that use both ESLint and Prettier I’d like to suggest `RobinMalfait.prettier-eslint-vscode`instead of `esbenp.prettier-vscode` as mentioned here.
It uses Kent C. Dodds’s
prettier-eslint under the hood, combines
eslint --fix, and works great with
"editor.formatOnSave": true. Additionally, eslint-plugin-prettier and eslint-config-prettier may save you a headache.
