Amrita Rao, who is popularly known as Ammy, was born on 10 October 1984 in Mumbai. Her father was an engineer and her mother was a teacher. She studied at St. Joseph’s High School and thereafter she decided to become an actress with her interest growing towards modeling at a very young age.
