It is a nice story, but I just don’t get all the enthusiasm connected with Pussy Riot. They claim they fight for freedom — but they’re also fighting for socialism, trotskyism and comrade Sanders (here, in Russia, you get the idea that all the nice grassroots populist anarcho-communist movements always end up in GULAG). They declare their dedication to women's rights and gender freedom — but their fame began with punk performance in a church (they’re ideals are great but is it OK to do political protests like tha-at? Even though all the religion protecting laws in Russia are awful that was at least trespass of private property).
