An 8th Grader Diagnosed My Bipolar Disorder

In retrospect, the fact that I am bipolar is so obvious that sometimes I am not sure how no one in my life noticed since it made its first appearance in my early 20s. While sometimes I think they were too scared to bring it up, other times I think people focused on my “good” moments and just thought I had depression or was “acting out.”
