Honestly, you should not be taking to a forum such as this purporting to give advice on self-publishing when you clearly don’t understand it.

  1. No I don’t work for Lulu, nor do I use them, nor did I threaten to take you to court. But from the allegations you are throwing around in this post, I wouldn’t blame them if they did. I look forward to seeing all your press releases that you’ll be sending ‘all over the place’ when they do.
  2. I am fully aware of the definition of a scam. This is not it.
  3. “ Do you seriously think I would have EVER agreed to this have they made it clear?! SERIOUSLY?!” — this means you made a bad business decision. That’s on you. Not them. If their terms are poor, you should never have submitted. The onus is on YOU to check your facts, not on THEM to make sure everyone who signs up to them can read. You either can’t, or didn’t bother. Either way, that’s YOUR problem and YOUR responsibility. Screaming scam doesn’t make it so.
  4. Nothing is wrong with me. But thank you kindly for asking.
