What is generative AI?

We all have heared about the term AI ( Artificial intelligence) which simply involves computer to do things that generally require human intelligence with substantial amount of data . Similarly Generative AI is a substrate of AI that focuses on learning new and orginal content by learning algorithms such as text , image , video etc . Some famous examples of generative AI are ChatGPT and DALL -E . These systems have been trained on massive amounts of data, and work by predicting the next word or pixel to produce a creation . Generally it starts with a simple input called prompt in which the user describes the desired output . For example if the user wants an image of Conor McGregor doing Naruto run the system will oblige . Generative AI such as ChatGPT can not just create images but can also converse with a user efficiently . While DALL-E can create realistic images with a short command prompt with a simple process called diffusion which creates structural images with the help of dots . Everything has it’s flaws even Generative AI . Due to it’s ability to create fake codes , images , videos etc it would likely increase identity theft , fraud etc likely to increase the chances of cyber attacks and manipulation and in future it would almost be impossible to differentiate between illusion and reality .
