In recent years, the southern border of the United States has been flooded with children who are seeking asylum in America. The vast majority of these children were smuggled into the country by human traffickers and drug dealers who charge them exorbitant fees for this service. These smugglers often abandon these young people once they have crossed over into our country, leaving them alone in a strange place with no support from their families or any other authority figure. This has created an unprecedented crisis on our southern border that needs immediate attention from our leaders in Washington D.C..
