  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
  • Lemon slices for garnish (optional)

1. Prepare the Salmon:

  • Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
  • Season both sides of the fillets generously with salt and pepper.

2. Cook the Salmon:

  • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet.
  • Cook for 4–5 minutes, or until the skin is crispy and the fillets are about halfway cooked.
  • Carefully flip the fillets and cook for another 3–4 minutes, or until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
  • Remove the salmon from the skillet and set aside.

3. Make the Lemon Dill Sauce:

  • In the same skillet, add the butter and let it melt over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes, or until fragrant.
  • Stir in the heavy cream, lemon juice, and lemon zest.
  • Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 2–3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens slightly.
  • Stir in the chopped fresh dill.

4. Combine and Serve:

  • Return the cooked salmon fillets to the skillet, spooning the lemon dill sauce over the top.
  • Cook for an additional 1–2 minutes to heat through.
  • Transfer the salmon to serving plates and garnish with lemon slices, if desired.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy your keto-friendly Salmon with Lemon Dill Sauce!
