Appreciate the insight, Trent. You’re right that the offense hasn’t been a major issue because they are really, really good already. But I don’t see how the roster can actually get better defensively unless changes are made like dealing away Blake Griffin for pieces that includes an excellent versatile forward/wing defender who is a complementary player on offense. They just don’t have the assets to get an impactful player. That’s why I think they need to work with what they have and maximize their offense — because it can and should be even better.
