Dude, I’m guessing you don’t actually read Collins, because he’s possibly the best writer on this site, and a bunch of things you ascribe to him are blatantly false. While The Ringer might have a strange fascination with The Fast and the Furious (I’ve never seen one, so I can’t say whether it’s warranted), Collins himself hasn’t particularly engaged in it. Nor has he particularly engaged in the, for lack of a better word, “social justice left” criticism that many others do. Yes, he writes on race and gender, but I’ve always found him to be reasonably fair when he does so, even if I disagree with some of his assessments.

I haven’t seen this movie, but, based on other reviews, this one seems accurate, and his point that it seems to give a reason for the characters raunchy comedy besides proving the point that women can make raunchy comedies is a useful and legitimate one.
