Yeah, my initial thought was, unless Lavine and Dunn are better than I thought, the Bulls got fleeced. They didn’t have to give up Wiggins or KAT, and they got Butler. As Simmons always says — superstar trades where you’re trading a dollar for three quarters and a dime rarely work out for the team trading the superstar.
Maybe that’s all they could get. Lavine’s a good player, and who knows with the #7 pick. But, it seems like they could have gotten something better than this.
