So there is a crazy pay per view fight on tonight and I am not sure if it interferes with anything you are doing, but this fight is going to be an amazing spectacle and I hope you consider watching it. I’ll catch you up to speed.

The fight is a boxing match between Conor McGregor, pictured above, and Floyd Mayweather Jr. 1. It is an unprecedented fight between the worlds best boxer and the worlds best UFC fighter. It is unprecedented because McGregor, the tatted dude again pictured above, isn’t even technically a boxer. He has especially agreed to a boxing match in order to take a shot at Mayweather, who may turn out to be the best boxer of all time.

So so so many people are planning on watching these modern day gladiators beat each other in the face for millions of dollars. It’s like Game of Thrones and the fighting pits, but instead of death, you will live, but are pretty much guaranteed a neurological disorder by the time you are 50.

So who are these gladiators of our time? Well, Floyd Mayweather Jr. is the current undisputed worlds best boxer. He has never lost a fight ever. Not even once. He is 49–0 and has knocked 26 people out cold. He is truly amazing. You should check out his jump-roping videos. His workouts are gnarly, his discipline, and work ethic, up there with the greats.

Mayweather is also the cockiest mother effer you have ever seen. He is up there even above Yeezus. Yes, I mean Kanyesus West. 2. Everyone in the world (probably including this guy’s own mother) wants to see him get knocked out. He is so full of himself, so loud on twitter and social media, so outlandish and out there and above all he’s such an annoying prick. He says ridiculous things in interviews. One time, when talking about fighting Manny Pacquiao, a beastly Pacific islander who has won a ton of fights he said,

“We’re going to cook that little yellow chump…Once I kick the midget ass, I don’t want you all to jump on my d — -. So you all better get on the bandwagon now…Once I stomp the midget, I’ll make that mother f — — — make me a sushi roll and cook me some rice…We’re going to cook him with some cats and dogs,”

He has also said he’s better than Mohamed Ali and the other top boxers ever. Some of the stuff he says is so stupid because he is so uneducated and illiterate. He literally doesn’t know how to read and brags about it sometimes.

Connor McGregor is the other guy. The UFC fighter. UFC is obviously a whole different thing than boxing. UFC you can obviously kick and grapple on the floor and other stuff. I am sure you know this. Anyway, 3. McGregor has agreed to fight Mayweather at Mayweather’s own sport. Like….what! Why would he do that? Well, for one, he is probably just as fucking nuts as Mayweather. Not surprising because he also gets kicked in the face for a living.

You may be wondering wtf the picture above is. See the little-suited baby manikin. McGreggor bought his baby a three piece suite for the fight. His baby is a 3-month-old infant.

McGregor has somehow managed to finagle his way into this fight which he does not belong in. And through some kind of marketing genius, this crazy mother effer is about to be 100 million richer for a fight he doesn’t really belong in. This crazy bearded Irishman’s popularity is probably because he is the second loudest shit talker out there after Mayweather.

I think the only way McGeggor could win is by landing one crazy weird punch on Mayweather and knocking him out. McGregor is a strong mother effer and he’s gonna be coming at Mayweather at a very different style than Mayweather has seen before. 4. Maybe that will be enough of a variable that McGregor can get that miracle punch in to knock Mayweather off his Iron throne.

So, anyway. Maybe this has peaked your interest and you want to watch too. If not, have a nice night. A bonfire might be cooler. I don’t know.

*disclaimer, I am not an avid boxing or UFC fan, but I have fought in one fight for a Fraternity Fight Night.
