19 Things I’ve learned as a First-Time Entrepreneur

Looking back at the last 1.5 years, here is what I’ve learned so far as a first-time entrepreneur!

Make friends with other entrepreneurs, they will be your biggest allies

Being able to clearly communicate your ideas is very important

Everything is harder than it looks

It’s okay to have doubts

It gets harder, not easier

If you achieve anything, it will be because you have a great team

You get punched in the face a lot

Don’t go to several conferences, unless you absolutely have to

Ask for help

Everyone is basically scared of everyone else at first

No one cares about your company as much as you do

Have touch stones to relieve pressure

Almost everyone’s company looks great on the outside

Not dying is harder than you think

It’s a roller coaster, brace yourself

Your idea is not unique and competition is good

There’s always a silver lining. You just have to find it

Sharing what you’ve learned with others can pay back in a million different ways

And the most important one for me: Be patient

If you have any suggestions, let me know in the comment, I’m sure I forgot to mention some!
