I wrote this when I was going through some struggles last year and had inner turmoil. I feel I have made significant improvements.

Inner Soul Speaks

My inner self speaks to me
Sometimes in the sound of a minor key
I hear the demons speak
But action is where I find my peace

Hope is a beacon
Ever shining bright through the fight
Never surrendering
To a dark starless night

Not sure where I am meant to go
But there is a driving force
I am just not sure yet 
So living the flow

Can’t we all live in happy?
I know this is a dream
Hope to those who can’t grasp it
A path forward and not backwards
