See CNBC Video: Jordan Belfort scatterbrained on Bitcoin IDIOT

During a recent interview with CNBC, Jordan Belfort shared his opinions about Bitcoin but ultimately came across as incoherent and scatterbrained. Lacking a technical grasp or an appreciation of Bitcoin’s significance, he simply rehashed the same old, tired clichés: i.e. crypto’s only use-case was criminal enterprise. And when Belfort suggested that Bitcoin was dark by its very nature, one couldn’t help but suspect he was really channeling his own jaded views of human nature.
But what was Belfort’s biggest issue with Bitcoin? He said world governments would never allow it to exist. Mmmm? And instead of clarifying imbecilic comments like the quote above, Belfort contradicted himself, insisting that “Bitcoin itself wasn’t a scam, but scams were being perpetuated around it.” Really? Like I said, the guy’s brimming with insight.
So why the hell is he on television? Why give Belfort a public platform to spread his confusion and jabber in circles?
Because Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio made him famous in the movie ‘The Wolf of Wall Street.’ We all loved that movie. The Quaalude scenes were effing hilarious. But I fail to see how a Quaalude addiction and a career spent defrauding investors make Jordan Belfort of ‘Stratton Oakmont’ an expert on Bitcoin.
His CNBC interviewers never asked him any real market questions: about the Dow Jones or Nasdaq. Why? They weren’t interested. Belfort was invited to play the convicted Scammer warning about the ultimate Scam: BITCOIN. The idea was that Belfort, the scammer, had inside knowledge or sixth sense for scams like Bitcoin. BeeATCH Pa-LEEZE!
But the only scam I could discern was the absurd notion that Jordan Belfort had anything substantive to say about crypto. Because, in truth, Belfort’s only area of expertise is Jordan Belfort.
