Every Late Night Talk Show Is A Sleazy Plutocratic Rim Job
Caitlin Johnstone

These notes are so tone-deaf that it’s depressing when people don’t turn their ears in disbelief. What is the narrative being peddled by Colbert? I can’t tell. It’s the same kind of non-sequitur response we saw when Trump bombed Syria. We can’t have something so good like an escalated war in the middle east be perceived as bad, so I guess we nod to Trump on this?
We can’t have the election villain Comey narrative outweigh the Trump-Russia narrative?
I can’t keep up with what’s supposed to be happening. Sad that it doesn’t seem to matter what tune is being played — people are still fine with dancing.
It seems like it’s a question of if, not when North Korea will become an “untenable threat to democracy and world peace.” That’s big game and we still haven’t digested Iraq.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?
