my house is becoming a zoo

We started off with birds.

3 Parakeets, because I liked them. Then 2 of them mated, and I had then 7 parakeets.

Then my brother found a cockatiel. So we housed a cockatiel.

Then my brother found a bunny. So we housed a bunny.

Then my brother wanted fish. So we bought 6 goldfish.

Then my brother wanted reptiles. So we bought 4 leopard geckos and a bearded dragon.

Then we were given a hamster. So we housed a hamster.

Then today… I heard my dad brought home a yorkie.

That thing up there.

So we now house a yorkie too…

I grew up with 6 dogs back in Korea (2 jindos, a yorkie, white terrier, shih tzu, and poodle). I terribly missed being around dogs when I came to the states, but could never ask for one because we weren’t so financially secure back then.

But now I got one. Just like that.

The thing I once wanted so much.

I just got it.

When I least expected it.

The quote, “You get what you (once) want(ed) when you least expect it,” rings so hilariously true right now…
