Here is my Top 10 “why haven’t you downloaded these yet” list of Apps.

Top 10:

— #1. Way of Life. This one is PERFECT for new year’s resolutions. With Way of Life I track exercise, alcohol consumption, meditation, etc.

— #2. Google Photos. The Google Photos engineering team ain’t nuthing ta f*** wit. Once Google indexes your photos you can search for objects in the photos, not just faces. Searches like “dog” and “sunset” just work.

— #3. Tiny Rogue. It’s a dumb game to kill time, but it’s fun. Super 8-bit, turn based, D&D type game. See if you can beat my score of 40,525.

— #4. Wealthfront.* Investing reimagined.

— #5. Headspace. We’re all stressed and work too much. If you haven’t meditated this is your simple non-religious way. Try the 10-day challenge. 10-mins a day for 10-days.

— #6. Smells Fishy. I had my blood tested a few weeks ago and discovered I have elevated mercury. I eat fish a couple times a week (sushi etc.) and sadly I’ve been eating fish high in mercury without knowing it. Smells Fishy will help you avoid the contaminated fish.

— #7. Dashlane password manager. I was a 1Password guy. But I gotta say the UI/UX/features of Dashlane won me over. Give the free version a shot to see if you like it.

— #8. Scannable. Turn any paper document into a PDF. The best picture to PDF software I’ve found.

— #9. Protonmail. Encrypted email in Switzerland. iOS and Android apps coming soon.

— #10. Apps I’ve built recently. Mechanical watch lovers, check out the HODINKEE & Watchville apps*.
