When, and only when, we can start seeing ourselves in the eyes…

Only when we start seeing ourselves in the faces, start seeing ourselves in the ears, start seeing ourselves in the lips, teeth, hair, head, arms, legs, only when we can start seeing ourselves in the bodies of someone else, despite monetary wealth, despite a conceived perception of status, despite the social constructs that seem to work against us and only seem to succeed in keeping us separated by demographics, then, and truly then, will we be able to see real peace. When we love ourselves and understand that everything around us is a reflection of who we are, and when we love others, and understand that “I” am “you,” “she” is “he,” and “we” is “me,” there is no need or room for hate.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
