Courage is the ONE Thing

Good morning Champ.

What we are going to talk about today, is the ONE thing that you need when all else fails. The one thing that should be by your side when the world is crumbling down around you. The one thing that should define who you are at any given moment in time.

No need to guess. It’s Courage.

Courage comes to those that have this unwitting ability to trust. Not necessarily to trust in others or people around them, but trust in oneself so that when everyone else gives up, there is still one man standing.

In our culture we are so detached from the idea of courage because along with it comes a few qualities that have been deemed feminine in recent years. This idea of trusting, or letting go of one’s control of an outcome and resigning their power over a given task is something that has troubled the psyche of men for some time now.

Yet what we forget to realize is that sometimes we can’t MAKE certain things happen. There is no guarantee that you will win your race. There is NO guarantee that you will succeed. There is only trust in ourselves that we we let go of the outcome and focus on the moment, we will make it in the end. But you find it inside of you to take the leap of faith anyway!

Courage really is that one thing that is prevalent and tied together with success. Be it financial, relationships, personal development, or health…the one thing that separates the have’s from the have not’s, is courage and trusting that when they step forward and take a leap of faith. They will make it.

It is in ACTING courageously, that you build courage.

It’s a muscle just like everything else. You don’t get strong by browsing on forums, you don’t get rich by reading books, you achieve success by taking action and betting on yourself that we all else fails, you won’t.

We live in this world today where almost everyone is addicted to the idea of living in their headspace. It’s free rent for life! People feel the need to know how everything works and if they can’t rationalize how something works WITHOUT going out and experiencing it for themselves, then they banish the idea from their realities.

We have this tendency to believe only that which can be backwards rationalized in our minds. Fuck rationalization. Trust. Courage.

Courage isn’t the kind of thing that a lot of people have. It’s only within a select group of people that are meant to make great change in the world.

You might not have a lot of trust in other people or even in yourself, but you are here, reading this post and probably THINKING about whether or not you have it at all. Whether you are in fact the kind of guy (or girl) that has what it takes to keep trying because you are just so damn tired of starting over.

So let me tell you this.

Don’t. Give. Up.

The people who are constantly starting over and trying this then trying that are NOT Courageous.

If you’re tired of starting over. Don’t give up.

People live far too much of their lives in the head and out of their bodies. But what people don’t realize is that “living in your head” isn’t some metaphysical idea. You are literally in your head and you are literally there too much. Get out of your head. Start living in your body, in the moment and take action on your life.

When you rationalize and justify the cause-and-effect of everything around you and make your decisions on that sort of foundation, then you never have any reason to leave your head because everything seems to make sense up there. In such an unpredictable world, the one place you’re always safe is your mind. Well fuck that and fuck your headspace. Get out of it! Live your life and lose control. Build your courage because courage lies in your body and your heart.

It’s the way it’s always been done folks.

You are on your way to becoming the greatest and strongest version of yourself and you must first leave your head and take your first steps into the world. Whatever it is that’s in front of you that you want, stop thinking and start doing! There’s nothing cheesy about it. Be courageous, take a leap of faith, believe in your heart that at the end of the day, you will be a better man after you’ve done it.

We all have thoughts, every single day, about what we want and what we hope to achieve and I’m telling you to start freaking the fuck out about why you haven’t starting getting them yet.

Dreams are just thoughts you have while your eyes are closed, so why do you think of them as being so unobtainable when you wake up?

Quit rationalizing how hard something is going to be or how long it will take. Start taking action, use your courage and surrender yourself to the idea that when you stop thinking and you take a leap of faith, you will grow. You will take a step forward towards becoming the man you’ve always wanted to be.

I’m not promising that you will find riches at every turn. But if you are here to become a better version of yourself every single day, then stop thinking about your day; find your courage and discover an unknown path.

Until next time

PEACE.
