Get a Job

I may be biased but I truly believe that Miles Teller is one of the most underrated actors in the film industry. He is witty, believable and most importantly just a joy to watch on the silver screen and he does it again with the film “Get a Job”. A film that lacks a lot of plot but is saved by its bright stars in Anna Kendrick, Miles Teller, and Bryan Cranston. It follows a young couple coming fresh out of college experiencing the many problems recent graduates face today in this day in age. For me I LOVED it because it was very relate able as I feel like this is a film that will only truly thrive with the age group of 22–30. The film is just under an hour and a half so as I said it lacks a certain depth to it but the message was very clear and easy to understand and at the end it will put a smile on your face. The only problem I have with this film is that yes it is relate able but many aspects are not believable when it comes to the many actions of the characters. Bottom line: Give this film a chance but as I see it there is no middle ground… You will either truly enjoy it or it will be a bore and you will not last through it.

Rating: 8 out of 10. Good job Miles and Anna, you saved this film.
