Secret Life of Bore
Okay so “The Secret Life of Pets” as we know was well publicized and marketed for many months now as a animated film that touched on what your pets essentially do while you are away. I must be honest, I was VERY excited for this film since it touched on a subject that many of us adore, our pets. The main problem is… If you have seen any of the trailers, you have seen the funniest parts of the film. Now this is an issue that many films face but none more documented than “The Secret Life of Bore” as I like to call it.
It did have its moments where you found a slight chuckle but most of the film was drawn out and that is sad seeing as it was an hour and a half long movie. There was absolutely no plot and some of the scenes got so intense that I questioned if it was actually PG or PG-13 with many hints of death/killing and scenes that involve dramatic drowning sequences.
Bottom Line: The scenes in the trailers saved it a little seeing as you will still laugh at them during the film, but that is not enough to make it one of the animated classics.
Rating: 5 out of 10… Disappointing..
