Zootopia
WOW.WOW.WOW.
These are the only 3 words I could mutter when thinking about the film, Zootopia. Disney delivers another classic that I hope can become a franchise like one similar to Dreamworks, “Madagascar”. The film follows a young bunny by the name of Judy Hopps who is voiced by the beautiful
Ginnifer Goodwin that aspires to be the first bunny ever to become a police officer in the big city of Zootopia. While she succeeds, she finds out that it will be harder than she thought to gain the respect of her peers and the individuals she is protecting. Along the way she meets a con artist fox by the name of Nick Wilde who is voiced by Jason Bateman. They end up teaming up to find a missing Otter which leads to many antics and laughs. This film is in my opinion the best animated movie since The Lion King and that is saying a lot… It is great for all ages which makes it a classic that can be remembered for many years to come.
The only issue I had which was a small one was it hits on many racial undertones that are relevant to what is going on in our society today and at times makes it feel like it is a very long propaganda piece. But like I said, it is a SMALL issue in a film that gives you that good “Disney feeling” at the end.
Rating:10 out of 10. The RT score of 98% is not a lie. Another Disney classic.
