Learn how to buy $PEPE on Etherium with Uniswap

Hello Pepe community, today I will go over on how to buy $PEPE on Uniswap. This is strictly for educational purposes and not intended to be financial advise. I hope this guide can help you understand how to use Metamask with Etherium. $PEPE is available on multiple Centralized Exchanges but they are not available to everyone (for now).

Introduction to $PEPE

$PEPE is a meme coin with no intrinsic value or expectation of financial return. There is no formal team or roadmap. the coin is completely useless and for entertainment purposes only. $PEPE coin has no association with Matt Furie or his creation Pepe the Frog. This token is simply paying homage to a meme we all love and recognize.

Set Up Metamask

Funding Your Wallet

You can fund your Metamask wallet in a few ways. Centralized Exchange (Binance or Coinbase) or via the “Buy” button on Metamask.

If you choose to buy directly from Metamask it will have you KYC from a third party company that will use your choice of payment and send you ETH. This process can take a few hours depending on the company and your choice of payment.

With Centralized Exchange of your choice you will need to buy ETH and send it to your Metamask wallet address from your exchange. You can find your wallet address here.

Follow your exchange directions on what they require for you to withdraw your ETH into your Metamask. I recommend doing a test withdrawal to make sure you send your ETH to the right address. It would be a shame to send funds to the incorrect address.

Using Uniswap

Once you have ETH in your wallet you can Start the process to swap your ETH for PEPE.

Important Notes: Double checking website URL and token address are very Important. Do Not Forget to do it.

Head over to the “Browser” section. Add the Uniswap URL to your broswer to get to the main Uniswap page. Make sure you use the correct URL to not get scammed.

Once you have verified that you are on the right site you can go ahead and connect your wallet to Uniswap.

After you have connected your wallet you can begin adding PEPE to swap ETH with. Copy the PEPE contract address posted above when you select “Tokens”.

From here you can add the amount of PEPE you would like to swap your ETH for. Keep in mind that you will have to plan for ETH gas fees (transaction fees). Gas does fluctuate in price.

After you confirm the amount of ETH you will need to swap for PEPE you can confirm the swap and you should see an option to add PEPE to your wallet. Go ahead and add it and you will see your PEPE added to your wallet.
