I read most is before commenting so I should get a little bit of credit. I feel like the feminist aspect isn’t relevant to me, but I think that a universal base income would be interesting.

I see it as the government investing in people directly. I also believe with all these new services popping up, like Uber, where users are encouraged to “be their own boss,” that the way we think of things like “work” and “jobs” is subject to change. Some are calling it the gig economy.

Imagine a culture where the state invests directly in its people, and enables them to serve society in extremely useful yet unconventional ways.
