2019 Markyt Roadmap Announcement
Happy New Year Everyone!
Timelines are critical for a project as ambitious as Markyt.shop, and this we’re excited to share an early look at our roadmap and a glimpse into what to expect in 2019.
The Markyt Roadmap is now publicly available and provides an overview of the key deliverables to come in the new year. Much of this work has already commenced in Q4, 2018, so you can expect to see results very soon!
Q1, 2019
- Accept Bitcoin Payments: The Cryptocurrency community are usually very supportive of companies accepting Bitcoin payments in their drive for mainstream adoption. This will attract new customers and to increase sales on Markyt.
- Accept Fiat Payments: Although we all dream of a day where Cryptocurrency is a widely accepted medium of exchange, the vast majority of people around the world still use fiat currency. Adding fiat currency to Markyt would open up our shop beyond the Cryptocurrency market, vastly expanding our target audience. To facilitate this we will create an internal exchange system for fiat to Cryptocurrency transactions by using a customary service with the new payment method to purchase goods.
- Initiate Phase 1 & 2 of the Marketing Plan: This will include Optimizing the Markyt website for SEO, Building a Social Media presence & Using paid advertising to speed up sales cycle.
- Add 5–10 additional stores to Markyt
- Development of the Store’s Bounty Platform (TBA)
Q2, 2019
- Accept KYT Payments: As part of our commitment to our community, we will focus on increasing the liquidity of the KYT token to ensure it is able to be utilised on Markyt as a means of payment.
- Publish Store’s Bounty Platform V1 (TBA)
- Raise Store vouchers in KYT token (TBA)
- Accept Store’s advertising plans on KYT (TBA)
- - Add 5–10 additional stores to Markyt
Q3, 2019
- Accept New Tokens for Payment: AThis will be based on legal regulations, Markyt rules, and community voting.
- Publish New Power BI Reporting Eystem: A business analytics solution that lets you visualize your data and share insights across your store. Connect to hundreds of data sources and bring your data to life with live dashboards and reports.
- Additional Partner Integrations (TBA)
- Markyt Ambassador Program (TBA)
- Add 5–10 additional stores to Markyt (TBA)
Q4, 2019
- Mobile app V1 (TBA)
- Escrow system v2 (TBA)
- Add 5–10 additional stores to Markyt (TBA)
