Keeping Up With Kaitlyn

Hi! I’m Kaitlyn and I’m 16 years old and a junior at PHS. I’m involved in diving and gymnastics here and do ballet outside of school. One of my favorite things to do is travel with my family. This past summer we went to Hawaii which was incredible and defiantly one of my favorite places in the world. I also love to listen to music. I like all types of music and I know every word to each song that comes on the radio. I am very thankful for all of my friends and family because they always keep me going and make my life so fun.

This is one of my favorite pieces of classical music. Whenever I listen to this it always puts me into a calm state of mind. I always listen to this whenever I need to relax.

I was at Friday’s football game with all of my friends

Malala is a very inspiring person to me because she showed the world that if you want something you should go through anything to achieve that.

Aly Raisman is very inspiring to me not only because I strive as a gymnast to be like her but also because through her whole Olympic career she has stayed grounded and true to herself which is very important to me.

Tori Kelly is a musician I look up to a lot. She is such an amazing singer and such a nice person that always acts herself and doesn’t change because of fame.

One of my biggest dreams is to travel the world with my friends and family. I love going on spontaneous and fun adventures.

I chose these three images because to me, living in America is diverse. Also America grants us many freedoms and allows us to make choices apposed to other countries that are very controlling.
