Parenthood: A Poem

You bring us joy and then frustration;

Followed by laughter that could heal a nation.

There are times when you make us want to cry;

But that disappears when you audibly sigh.

You race around with no concept of danger;

Jumping around like some crazed Power Ranger.

The love we have for you will never waiver;

We’re here, always, your life, we will savour.

This was my first attempt at some poetry and I’d love some feedback!
