Everyday OLYMPIAN: What workouts should I do, What supplements should I take?
The Olympics are here and everyone is amazed with the Olympic athletes. Most of us had some sort of Olympic dream at one time in our lives. Whether that was playing basketball, running track, swimming or Gymnastics. Now a days many of us have different goals and dreams. Those can include getting in better shape and maybe even losing weight or gaining muscle. There is a lot of debate out there on how to get into Olympic shape or shall I say, how to get into your best shape. Thee are many ways but there is a common trend, Hard work. The same thing goes for your diet, your rest and the supplements you take.
Do you know what the Olympic athletes do? They train until they are dead tired, and then they keep training. They lift unti they cannot lift anymore, and thne they lift some more. The key is going beyond your supposed limits. The same thing applies to their diets. Most of them have a fairly consistent diet. Do they eat the same bad stuff that the general population does? Sometimes, on cheat day, but everyday aint cheat day. Plus, in order to cheat you have to have something to cheat on or cheat about. If you have not been are is not testing yourself, then it is not a cheat day. Thats just the way you eat. You have to get into a routine of making sacrifices because YOU ARE EATING FOR A PURPOSE. YOU ARE EATING FOR A RESULT. You see, you are not just eating to get full or eating because it taste good. You are eating in a way that will give you a certain result. That result can be more energy, weight management, better body composition, build muscle, gain weight or lose weight.
The same thing goes to the supplements and nutritional products you put into your body. There is always a lot of negative press surrounding supplements. Yet, you must be careful and aware what you put into your body. Yes, a person can break records without being on anything illegal. Yes, a person can jump high, run fast, swim longer, lift more, think faster without being on anything illegal. Their are plenty natural and legal and safe supplements that teh earth and GOD has provided us with. We must be willing to do our due diligence and find them. Would you take something that is not labeled? No, it is labeled for a reason. SUCCESS leaves clues. Most Olympic athletes only eat, drink and take the best and most high quality foods and supplements. Thats why they get the most out of their food and their supplements, and in return their bodies. Supplements are just that. They supplement what you should already be doing with exercise and your diet. yet, you must get the best, pure, safe and legal supplements.
