Can Businesses Turn LGBT People Away Because of Who They Are? That’s Up to the Supreme Court Now.
Actually, that’s not the question in front of the court.
The question in front of the court is if the professed religious beliefs of a vendor allow them to deny service for any reason at all.
It is entirely possible that the Court distinguishes between the PERSON (in this case, a LGBT individual) and the REASON WHY THE SERVICE IS REQUESTED.
Being all very smart lawyers, I would have thought that the ACLU would have figured that out by now.
Instead of behaving like they have an agenda other than defending the Constitution.
