I suppose Medium needs to figure out what it wants to be when it grows up. Is it a platform for all comers, meaning that employed journalists (and their orgnaizations) can dominate it, or does it tell the employed jouranlists to stick to their own infrastructures and leave the independent writers alone?

I block the TP writers when they appear, not because I don’t want to read them, but because if I don’t, my Politics feed will have nothing in it but them. And since they don’t know how to respond to people who (my perspective, probably not yours) call them out on their BS, there’s no interchange of ideas, which is what floats my boat.
